Introductions 101 : If you wish to get to know somebody don't order them to IM you. It's rude and won't work.Try making an effort and actually introducing yourself first with a few interesting details plus a question or two about the person you wish to know. Then exchange a few emails before requesting an exchange of IM usernames.
